Lawrence Weaver

Lawrence Weaver, 70, of 1507 Garrow Circle, Hampton, a loving husband, father and friend, passed away Feb. 24, 2010 at Regency Healthcare Center, Yorktown. A native of Suffolk, he was son of the late Suffioux and Anne Beck Weaver and the widower of Shirley Weaver.
Mr. Weaver attended East Suffolk High School. He was a decorated Vietnam War veteran and retired from the Army after 20 years of service, and was a member of the VFW.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three daughters, Denise Barksdale, of Hampton, Kasha Reed and her husband, William, of Rosamond, Calif., and Tisa Weaver, of Hampton; two sons, Thomas Weaver, of Hampton, and Andre Weaver and his wife, Clara, of Hope Mills, N.C.; three sisters, Dorothy Jones, Mary Alice Brown and Goldie Dilliard, all of Baltimore, Md.; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Crocker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
