William Eric Peoples, Sr. was born on Feb. 11, 1963 to William Peoples, Jr. and Mary Mayfield Peoples in Suffolk. A native of Suffolk, William attended Suffolk Public Schools and later enlisted in the United States Army. He was a welder for Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipyard.
During the afternoon of Sunday, April 4, 2010 William answered the call of our Heavenly father and reunited with his loved ones who preceded him in death. Mr. Peoples will be on view 11a.m.-5:30pm and wake service 6-7 p.m., Sunday, April 11 at the funeral home. The family will receive guest at 834 Seminole Drive at all other times. Funeral 1pm, Monday, April 12 at Popular Run Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
