Tech names outstanding senior

James Babb III, of Windsor, a senior majoring in agricultural technology at Virginia Tech, was named Outstanding Graduating Senior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ Department of Agricultural Technology for the 2011-12 academic year.
Each year, the college honors one undergraduate student from each department for his or her academic achievements, leadership and experiences beyond traditional coursework. Of these students, a committee selects the overall outstanding senior for the college.
