Annie L. Davis, 82, of 1011 Lake Kennedy Drive, Suffolk, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at her residence. She was a native of Louisburg, N.C. and the daughter of the late Ned Branch and Mattie Loue Edgerton-Branch. She was also predeceased by her husband, Loucious Davis.
She retired from Sentara Obici Hospital in the dietary department. She was a former member of Healing Fountain Holiness Church where she was a member of the Missionary and the mother of the church.
She is survived by three sons, Anthony L. Davis (Rachel), of Suffolk, Allen Lee Davis and Zackery Davis (Ella), both of Fort Worth, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Gill, of Louisburg, N.C.; one brother, Frank Branch, of Springfield, Mass; special sisters, Ella Ralph and Jeanette Featherson; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held at noon Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Greater Sweet Beulah Holiness Church with Suffragan Bishop Madison G. Copeland. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
