Suffolk Public Schools has extended the deadline for residents to take part in an online survey designed to help administrators improve schools.

The new deadline is May 21, district spokeswoman Bethanne Bradshaw stated in an email.

The survey is seeking responses from parents, students, staff and community members.

“This is not a test.  There are no right or wrong answers.  The answers you provide will remain confidential,” Bradshaw stated.

“All responses will be averaged to provide a general picture of each groups’ opinions.”

While at school, students at certain grade levels will be asked to complete another survey with similar questions to those in the online survey.

This has been explained in a letter to parents, which also included a sample of the student survey.
