Lora Lavern Langhorne Shivers was called home on May 5, 2012, at the age of 54. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday May 11, 2012, at New Jones Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Alvin Pierce officiating. Viewing will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Shivers Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Shivers Funeral Chapel, Smithfield.
