Myrtle Marie “Edith” Parker, 60, of 2580 Pruden Boulevard, Suffolk, VA died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Sentara Obici Hospital. A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Rising St. James PHC officiated by Pastor George E. Smith. Interment will be in Langston Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 309 Kilby Ave. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
