Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help identifying suspects in a smash-and-grab burglary that occurred early Monday morning.
About 2:15 a.m., a late-model, red Ford Explorer with a luggage rack and silver rims sped into the Suffolk Plaza Shopping Center parking lot, reversed and smashed through the front door of Precision Pawn, located at 892 N. Main St.
A man entered the store and removed several items. He was described in a press release as a light-skinned male, about 6 feet tall, with medium build. He was dressed in jeans, a dark, short-sleeved T-shirt and a dark-colored cap. He wore what appeared to be a gray shirt with lettering tied around the lower portion of his face.
The vehicle may have damage to the rear bumper and tailgate, as well as the taillights, according to the press release.
