Suffolk police have charged a 28-year-old man with allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and sexually assaulting her.

Michael Richard Greene was charged Sunday with burglary with intent to commit rape, attempted rape and grand larceny, city spokeswoman Debbie George said Monday.

She said the incident allegedly occurred during the early morning hours of March 31 but was just recently reported to police. George would not reveal where Greene’s ex-girlfriend lives.
