Mr. Randolph M. White and Mr. and Mrs. Jessie D. Snead of Suffolk announce the engagement of their daughter, Krystal Marie White, to Christopher Wade Turner.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Briggs of Sunbury, N.C.

Ms. White is a graduate of Lakeland High School, and is employed by Senga Corporation as office manager.

Mr. Turner is a graduate of Gates County High School and Elizabeth City State University, and is employed by Ciba Specialty Chemicals

The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 3, in Southside Baptist Church, Suffolk.
