NRHS debaters compete in regional tournament

Nansemond River High School’s Debate Team competed in the Eastern Region Debate Tournament held at Great Bridge High School.
Following the Eastern Region Debate Tournament there was an awards ceremony.
The following Warriors won second place in contemporary switch-side: Shantell Williams and Michael Levit. He also won third place in speech. Each student won a medal.
The following topic was resolved: That the United States federal government should substantially increase public health services for mental health care in the United States.
The debate co-advisor are S. Michele Duncan and J.B. Varney.
