The Suffolk Ruritan Club has been an annual supporter of King’s Kids of America, Inc. for 12 years. They kicked off their support with $700, and increased it to $1000. This year, the Suffolk Ruritan has pushed the chunks up even higher with a grand donation of $1500. This contribution qualifies the Suffolk Ruritan for the Gold Award at the Second Annual King’s Kids Reception. This is our major fundraiser for the year. Senator Fred Quayle will be the speaker. This grand occasion will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 27, Faith Temple Christian Center, 623 Brook Avenue. Other award categories are Bronze ($100-$499), Silver ($500-$999), and Diamond ($5000+). Deadline for contributions to be in to receive an award is Wednesday, June 18, but donations of any size can be given at the door.
