Casey Marie Butts and Charles Christopher Thomas were united in marriage Saturday, May 24, 2003, in Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church in Suffolk.

Pastor Ruffin Alphin officiated the ceremony, and Mrs. Katie Humphry served as mistress of ceremonies.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in love by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Butts.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas.

Casey is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taylor, Mr. Jay Butts and Mrs. Lois Pond.

Chris is the grandson of Mrs. Ida Oakes and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas of North Carolina.

Rebekah Baines and Hillary Mullen served as maids of honor.

Attendants were Elizabeth Blair, April Stutz and Shannon Stidham.

Flower girl was Nikki Carson.

Charles Thomas was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Jackson Self, Matthew Butts, Jon Thomas, Kevin Butler, and Joshua Butts.

Ringbearer was Grant Taylor.

After a honeymoon trip to Mexico, the couple will reside in Virginia.
