A Suffolk woman was charged with indecent exposure after allegedly “mooning” police officers on Tuesday.

The officers were responding to a call of a fight in progress in the 100 block of Charles Street, according to city spokeswoman Debbie George.

Upon arrival, the officers observed a group of people arguing in the street, she said.

As the officers approached the group, 38-year-old Temple Kearney allegedly “bent over in the middle of the street, pulled down her shorts and exposed her buttocks to officers,” George said.

Kearney also was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor assault charge. The alleged incident that initiated that charge occurred on Dec. 15, 2010.
