Fine Arts Commission announces availability of grant funds

The Suffolk Fine Arts Commission announced recently the availability of grant funds for its fiscal year 2003-2004 grant program.
The purpose of the program is to increase community access to high quality arts, to include, but not limited to the visual and performing arts. The program is open to any organization or individual whose project promotes this purpose in the City of Suffolk. Priority is given to applicants whose projects serve a cross-section of the community and accommodate handicapped, elderly and disadvantaged populations Applications are available from the Office of Management Services, Municipal Building, 441 Market St. Suffolk, Va. 23434.
Applications for funding must be received by the Office of Management Services no later than 5 p.m .Friday, July 18.
