Alexander Parker

Alexander Andrew &uot;Sundoll&uot; Parker, 80, of 422 Culloden St., Suffolk, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003 in Obici Hospital.
He was a graduate of the 1942 class of Booker T. Washington High School, and a veteran of the United States Army.
He had retired from the Norfolk Navy Yard and Nansemond Cold Storage.
His survivors include his wife, Annie H. Parker of Suffolk; five daughters, Sheila P. Perry of Chesapeake; Linda P. Goode and Evelyn B. Gibson, both of Suffolk; Ossie E. Lightfoot and Betty Ann E. Patterson, both of Norfolk; three sons, Ronald Boone and Rev. Melvin A. Boone, both of Suffolk; and Clifton Boone of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Charles W. Sharpe of Landover, Md.; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Ann Parker of Hanford, Calif.; Sylvia Sharpe of Landover; and Mildred Patterson of Washington, DC; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday, Oct. 18, in T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. Dr. Melvin R. Boone will be officiating.
Interment will be at Carver Memorial Cemetery
