Clarine E. Boone, 77, of Suffolk, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Portsmouth.

Clarine leaves to mourn one son, Melvin H. Jones (Vernetta); one daughter, Jennifer Lavern; three sisters, Virginia Lee Hall (Phillip) of Suffolk; Dorothy Mae Wiggins (Levertis) of Norfolk; and Mable Louise Boone (Jerry Jr.) of Gates, N.C.; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Mount Ararat Christian Church at 1860 Airport Road.

Interment will be held in Boonetown Family Cemetery, Gates County.

Viewing will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in T.E. Cooke Funeral Home.
