Suffolk Parks and Recreation is calling all boys and girls ages 7 to 15 to get hooked on golf. The Hook-a-Kid on Golf program will be held July 16-20, from 9 a.m. noon each day.

Hook a Kid on Golf teaches skills, technique, basic rules, etiquette, and course management. This program will be held at the Sleepy Hole Golf course, located at 4700 Sleepy Hole Road.

The cost is $150 for Tee Beginner level and $125 for Green Advanced level. Registration starts April 2 and ends July 13. Participants can register at www.suffolkva.us/parks or at the Parks and Recreation Administration Building, 134 South 6th St.
