Ruby Virginia Lee, 91, of Ridge, Md., died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Md.
Born on Dec. 11, 1912, in Nansemond County, Va., she was a daughter to the late Arthur and Sara Oliver Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Lee in 1996, and two sisters, Jessie Powers and Doris Bradshaw.
Mrs. Lee had worked as the cafeteria supervisor at St. Mary’s College from 1962 to 1972.
She is survived by two daughters, Katie Sue Lee of Washington, D.C., and Nancy L. Lee of Ridge, Md., a son, Thomas Frederick Lee of Lexington Park, Md.; seven grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, in the Brinsfield Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown.
The family will receive friend from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28 at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown.
Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Cyrus, John Bodnar, Steve Murphy, Joe Raley, Allen Raley, and Thomas Fleishman. Honorary pallbearer will be Jonathan Senn.
