Bennie and Evelyn Oliver recently had a very special dinner. It was the 67th time they celebrated their wedding anniversary.

A very young couple pledged their love and devotion to one another May 1, 1937, in South Mills, N.C., and have been together since that day.

Years of hard work together raising their son, Frank, and seeing their granddaughters grow up, now seeing their great-grandsons grow is a wonderful blessing at our age, said Bennie and Evelyn

Bennie, 83, still goes to help out at Oliver’s Pools and Spas, which he founded in 1978. He works on motors and gives advice to his son and granddaughter, Kimberly, who now run the business.

What is the magical ingredient for 67 years together? A lot of &uot;yes, dear,&uot; said Bennie.

Evelyn just smiles and winks.
