Keiyonda Shawana &uot;Kei Kei&uot; Williams, 23, of 909 Duce St., Portsmouth, died May 22, 2004, in Obici Hospital. She was born Nov. 5, 1980, in Suffolk and was the daughter of Carlton and Robin Hayes and the wife of Gabriel Williams. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, David Joe, and grandmothers, Ruth Allen and April Ruth Joe.
Besides her husband and parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, KeiVaughna, Destanee and Deshayla; one sister, Karlisa Cherry; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Carrie Hayes; father-in-law, Oliver Lewis; seven aunts, Linda (Samuel) Sherrod, Natalie Smith, Judith Hayes, Alice Majette, Gloria Majette, Annie Lorett Majette, all of Suffolk; and Phyllis Sessoms of Portsmouth; four uncles, Stanley (Brenda) Harper of Hampton, Eric Hayes of Suffolk, Charlie (Mattie) Cherry of Hampton, and Willie Herman Majette Jr. of Suffolk; one nephew, JaKariel Cherry; four great aunts, two great uncles, and many cousins and friends.
She was a 1998 graduate of Lakeland High School and a 2001 graduate of Kee’s Business College. She was employed by West Telemarketing of Newport News. She was a member of Missouri Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in New First Baptist Church, Hosier Road, by the Rev. Ronnie Boone. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1018 Truman Road and will assemble there for the funeral. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
