Evelyn Hudgins Goodman passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mrs. Goodman’s visitation took place on Sunday at the funeral home. The family will receive guest at the residence, 511 Reed Court, at all other times. A funeral service was held at First Baptist Church Mahan Street on Monday. She was laid to rest at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Professional funeral arrangements are entrusted to T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home, Inc.
