Man injured in Pruden Blvd. crash

As of late Wednesday, a Suffolk man remained in critical condition at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after he lost control of his vehicle on Pruden Boulevard.
The accident occurred as Mark Allen Hill, 40, of the 1600 block of Holland Corner Rd., Suffolk drove his 2000 Chevrolet truck east in the 3600 block of Pruden Boulevard around 1:19 p.m.. Hill struck a pole and fire hydrant on the west side of the roadway, according to police reports, before the vehicle flipped and ejected him.
Hill was airlifted by the Nightingale rescue helicopter to Sentara, where a hospital spokeswoman listed his condition as critical Wednesday night.
