Ms. Cynthia D. Williams, 44, of 209 N. Capital St., Suffolk, died July 25, 2004 in Obici Hospital.

She was a native of Suffolk. She was the daughter of the late Haywood Williams Sr. and Ola Mae Jenning Williams.

She was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church, Suffolk. A 1978 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, she was a former employee of Tidewater Occupational Center.

Her survivors include four brothers, Haywood Williams III and Bernard Williams, both of Suffolk, Michael Williams of Portsmouth, and Langley Williams of Virginia Beach; a sister, Eula M. Williams of Suffolk; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 29, at 11 a.m. in Metropolitan Baptist Church, Suffolk, by Dr. Robert Hobbs. Interment will be held in Carver Memorial Cemetery.

Crocker Funeral Home in Suffolk is in charge of the arrangements.
