Elma M. Luper, 92, passed away peacefully on Dec. 26, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake, Va., will be conducted Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Dr. Garland Hines. The family will receive friends at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va., on Thursday night from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Providence United Methodist Church General Fund, 3109 Providence Road, Suffolk, VA 23434 or to the Alzheimer Association, Southeastern Virginia Chapter, 6350 Center Drive, Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502.
