Editor, the News-Herald:

John Kerry was more Presidential then President Bush in the first debate aired Thursday night.

Mr. Kerry was clear and convincing while Bush appeared lost and annoyed much of the time. Not very appealing traits for an American President.

Mr. Kerry drove home the point that our country was rushed to War in Iraq, a country that has no connection to al Qaeda on faulty intelligence while Osama bin Laden, the real culprit behind 9/11 remains at large.

Now that we are there, President Bush seems out of touch with the realities on the ground in Iraq. Mounting casualties and a focus point for anti-American sentiments. President Bush has made a colossal mistake in Iraq and cannot be trusted to lead this country for another four years. John Kerry won the debate on Thursday night and also my vote.
