Ellodia Lamb Hathaway, 77, of the 300 block of Hobbsville Road, died Friday, December 3, 2004 at Obici Hospital in Suffolk.

Mrs. Hathaway was born in Perquimans County and was the daughter of the late Bennie A. Lamb and Sophoronia Boyce Lamb Chappell. A homemaker, she was a member of the Hobbsville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Donald Wayland Hollowell and Leonard W. &uot;Jake&uot; Hathaway, a sister, Gloria Elaine Lamb and brother, &uot;Bennie Boy&uot; Lamb.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet Eure and husband Barry of Suffolk and Darlene Wiley and husband Jackie of Hobbsville; her sister, Artelia Hobbs of Hobbsville; and four grandchildren, Jeffrey Bryan Eure, Alan Jay Eure, James Hathway Wiley and Kelli Lynn Wiley.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Miller Funeral Homes in Gatesville by the Rev. Frank Carter. Entombment will follow in the Hathaway Family Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home and at all other times in the residence.
