Editor, the News-Herald:

I’d like to wish everyone out there a Merry Christmas!

It’s wonderful to have such a rich language that we can express ourselves accurately and succinctly.

Notice that this article isn’t entitled Happy Holidays.

It is what it is!

It’s the celebration of the Birth of Christ, God’s only Son, who came to Earth to die for our sins.

What a wonderful gift it was and I give thanks for God’s gift to Mankind.

Remember the true meaning of Christmas, not just the gifts and celebrations.

Has anyone noticed that this country was founded on biblical principles?

Look at our national motto, &uot;In God We Trust.&uot;

It gets to the point rather quickly.

The second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence starts with the phrase &uot;We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights.&uot;

I’m tired of being politically correct.

If I receive another invitation to a Holiday Celebration I’m going to puke.

Why are we as Christian’s letting a vocal minority dictate to us what is acceptable?

Unless they changed the Constitution, my first amendment rights guarantee me the right to express myself, especially with respect to God and religion.

It’s time to stand up for Christmas.

Wish your neighbor or coworker a Merry Christmas and throw all those invitations for Holiday Celebrations in the trash.
