Tony J. Vardaro

Tony (Anthony) Joseph Vardaro, 33, of Suffolk, and more recently of Tampa, Fla., died of natural causes Feb. 25, 2005 at his residence.
A native of Charlottesville, he was the son of Joseph and Klema Vardaro of Suffolk. After attending Suffolk High School, he earned his G. E. D. on June 20, 1989. He was a commercial and residential painter. Tony was a beloved son, loyal brother and trusted friend.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Andrew Vardaro of Virginia Beach; grandmother, Kathleen Harper of Columbia; uncles and aunts, Ralph and Vicki Vardaro of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; Woody and Nancy Harper of Stevensville, Md., William and Harriet Woolf of Newnan, Ga.; godmother, Barbara Britton of Charles City, and numerous cousins.
A private memorial service will be held Friday, March 4, 2005. The family will receive friends Friday, March 4, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 1301 Holland Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances he made to the Holland Athletic Association Youth Baseball, Attn: Mark Estienne, 2248 Holland Corner Road, Suffolk, 23437. R. W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
