A Suffolk man accused of sexually abusing his girlfriend’s daughters will serve five years in prison.

Suffolk Circuit Court Rodham T. Delk on Friday accepted a plea agreement from Roger Brian Clarke II, who was arrested in September 2004 after the two girls went to authorities with the abuse allegations.

Under the agreement, Clarke was sentenced to 10 years each for two rape charges, five years for one count of forcible sodomy, and one year for indecent liberties with a minor.

Delk suspended all but five years of the sentence.

Before the sentencing, Delk told Clark that he had &uot;wrecked&uot; the girls’ lives with the abuse.

The abuse to the girls, who are now 17 and 18, occurred over a period of several years.
