Virginia R. &uot;Cakie&uot; Morris, 90, of 2100 block of Vermont Avenue, Suffolk, died March 3, 2005 in Autumn Care Nursing Home. A native of Nansemond County, she was daughter of the late Willie C. and Sarah Francis Robinson and the widow of Walter Morris.

She was the church mother and a missionary of St. Matthew Pentecostal Holiness Church of America.

She is survived by one daughter, Shirley A. Branch of Suffolk; seven grandchildren, Wanda Simmons, Helen Simmons, LaToya Simmons, Morris Simmons Jr., Antonio Simmons, Calvin Simmons and Stephen Simmons; five great grandchildr4en, one great great grandchild; special nieces, Rosa M. Thomas of Suffolk and Beatrice Spruill of Norfolk; and nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 1 p.m. in St. John Pentecostal Holiness Church. Pastor Sarah Hill will officiate. The interment will be in the Poplar Run Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 902 Davis Blvd. (Cypress Manor Apartments), Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements.
