Tony Leary, 70, of 113 US Highway #158, West, Gatesville, died Friday, March 18, 2005 at Obici Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Lebanon Grove Baptist Church, Gatesville, and retired from Smithfield Packing Company. He was predeceased by his parents John Leary and Minnie Beamon Leary.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley R. Leary; two daughters, Sharon Jones (Terrance) and Toni Leary of Gatesville; one son, Filston Eugene Leary of Gatesville; a grandson, DaShawn; three sisters-in-laws; five brothers-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Lebanon Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Carter Road, Gatesville, with Pastor Michael Williams officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may join the family from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Chapel, Gatesville, and the family will be at the home of the deceased.
