The old administration building at Ciba on Wilroy Road was demolished this week. Sales, administrative and technical personnel recently moved into the new, 26,000-square foot Water & Paper Treatment headquarters for NAFTA which was dedicated last month. The company had plans to demolish the building earlier but allowed the local fire department to utilize it for training during February and March. A company spokeswoman said training was provided for more than 180 fire fighters. Plans are to remove the asphalt, plant grass and create a green space on the site. The spokeswoman added that some of the furniture in the building was donated to the fire department and efforts are being made to salvage as much as the metal as possible.
