Police seek juvenile in shooting

Suffolk Police are asking for assistance in locating a juvenile wanted in a shooting that occurred late last month.
According to police, on March 22, 2005, Pierre Lamar Watkins, age 16, shot at a moving vehicle on Carolina Road. A 17-year-old occupant of the vehicle was shot in the hand.
Warrants are on file for Watkins for one count malicious wounding, one count shooting at an occupied vehicle, one count use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count unlawful discharge of a firearm.
Watkins is known to frequent the Ashley and Linden Street area of Suffolk as well as the Churchland area of Portsmouth. Anyone that may know the location of Watkins is asked to call Detective John McCarley at 923-2193 or Crime Line at 1-888-Lock-U-Up.
