Suffolk Strikers win TASL title

The Suffolk Strikers 14U team displays their champion shirts and medals after winning the Tidewater Advanced Soccer League Fall Tournament last weekend in Chesapeake. The Suffolk Strikers won the Tidewater Advanced Soccer League (TASL) Fall Tournament, winning the 14U boys championship, last weekend at Hickory Middle School in Chesapeake.

The Strikers went 4-0 and allowed one goal through the tournament, a round-robin format against every other squad in the league.

On Saturday, the Strikers beat CUSC Kiksilver from Chesapeake 3-0 and Norfolk’s NUSC Wolfhounds 7-1.

The Strikers started Sunday with a 2-0 win over NYSL Virginia Beach United and clinched the title with a 4-0 victory over Churchland’s CSL Spartans.

The Strikers compete out of the Western Branch Soccer Club.
