The executive board meeting of the Nansemond-Isle of Wight Sunday School Union will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the East Suffolk Community Center, 134 S. Sixth St.

Youth Summit at Pulaski Baptist Church

The Youth of Pulaski Baptist Church, Carrsville, will host its third annual Youth Summit on Saturday, May 21. Registration and refreshments begin at 10 a.m. followed by the worship service at 11 a.m. The speaker for the service will be Domenick Epps of Tabernacle Christian Church.

Following lunch, there will be workshops for youths and adults. A talent showcase featuring youths from local communities and church will be the highlight of the event. This day of education, entertainment and fellowship will culminate in a skating and pizza party at the Isle of Wight/Franklin Skating Rink. There is no charge for the event. Dinner sale at Gates of Heaven COGIC

Gates of Heaven COGIC, 112 Beech St., will be selling fish and chicken dinners at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 28.

The dinners include green

The Missionary Ministry of Canaan Baptist Church will sponsor its annual Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday.
