Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Suffolk Parks & Recreation is thrilled to unveil its newest holiday addition: an outdoor ice skating rink, presented by Glo Fiber, at Downtown Festival Park, 215 W. Washington St., Suffolk.

Beginning Sunday, December 1, surrounded by twinkling lights and festive décor, the rink will provide the perfect setting to enjoy the holiday season with friends and family. Whether you’re a skilled skater or stepping onto the ice for the first time, the rink is open to all ages and skill levels. Children, 12 years and under, must be accompanied by an adult. Provided skates must be used. Personal skates are not permitted. Skating aids and helmets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The rink will be open to the public Thursdays through Sundays. Private group rentals will be available Mondays through Wednesdays. Skating session times will run for one hour each. Please arrive 15 minutes before your session to get your skates.
