Suffolk man arrested in Chesapeake road rage shooting

According to a press release from Virginia State Police, Jordan Kendrell Copeland, 19, of Keaton Way, Suffolk, was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding and shooting at an occupied vehicle. The charges stem from a road rage incident that occurred on Oct. 12 at approximately 5:19 p.m. on I-664 at the Pughsville Road off-ramp in Chesapeake.
During the incident, shots were fired, injuring a female victim. The Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation asked the public for information about the incident and encouraged witnesses to come forward.
On Oct. 18, Copeland was arrested by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Copeland was booked into the Chesapeake City Jail without bond.
