Suffolk Police have announced that the warning period for Red Light Enforcement Cameras at two intersections begins Friday, October 11, 2024.

According to a media release, the cameras have been installed at the northbound and westbound approaches to the Portsmouth Blvd/Nansemond Blvd intersection, as well as the eastbound and southbound approaches at the Godwin Blvd/Kings Fork intersection.

According to the release, during the 30-day warning period, drivers who run red lights at these intersections will receive cautionary letters sent to their homes. However, starting November 10, 2024, violators will face a $50 fine.
