Suffolk Fire and Rescue responded to a residential structure fire on Saturday, Sept.21, 2024, in the 3400 block of Raintree Circle. Upon arrival, crews were met with a two-story home with light smoke showing and according to SFR, a propane tank connected to a gas grill had caught fire. The homeowners had extinguished most of the blaze before firefighters arrived.

Fire crews eliminated the remaining hot spots, determining that all heat damage was confined to the structure’s exterior.

There was no damage to the interior of the home, and no injuries were reported.
