Suffolk Christian girls improves to 3-2 with win over Rock Church

The Suffolk Christian Academy Knights girl’s volleyball squad improved to 3-2, with a win over Rock Church in straight sets (3-0) on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The Lady Knights controlled the first two sets, winning by double-digits but saw a tougher fight in the third set, closing it out 25-23. Taylor Foster served up 10 aces and added eight kills, while Emery Garza and Nadia Bingham added seven. Rachel Cornette chipped in 16 assists in the win. The Lady Knights travel to Wakefield to take on Tidewater Academy tonight, the Knights beat the Warriors in straight sets on Aug. 29.
Leading up to Tuesday’s contest, SCA defeated Bethel Christian and Tidewater Academy with losses to Victory and Bethel Assembly.
