Samuel White Jordan, 82, of Suffolk VA passed away on August 17, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eula White and Carroll W. Jordan, Sr.; brothers, Carroll W. Jordan, Jr. and Odell L. Jordan.; sisters, Jessie Mae Carr and Alma Jean Rawls.

He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. Sam also enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of Eureka Baptist in N.C.

Sammy is survived by his wife, Judy G. Jordan; daughter, Sharon J. Acireno (Scott); grandchildren, Jordan Acireno and Brenden Acireno; and sister, Doris Howell.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11AM at Cypress Chapel Christian Church, followed by a burial in the churchyard. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 6-7:30 PM at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Downtown Suffolk Chapel.
