Bon Secours Harbour View announces VP of Nursing

Bon Secours Hampton Roads has recently announced their Vice President of Nursing for the upcoming Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center, slated to open in 2025.
Kristen L. McSorley, DNP, RN, CNML, has been appointed for the new role and will assume her position on August 25. McSorley comes from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she serves The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health as Clinical Nursing Director.
Beginning her health system journey in 2007 at Cincinnati’s Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital as a patient care technician, McSorley has over 16 years with the ministry, holding various nursing leadership positions within the healthcare administration. She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Mount St. Joseph University, a master’s degree in health care administration from Xavier University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Ohio University, and an associate degree in Nursing from The Good Samaritan College of Nursing.
In a statement, President of Bon Secours Hampton Roads Patricia Davis-Hagens welcomed McSorley to their extensive team.
“Kristen McSorley brings a depth of experience and a commitment to excellence that will greatly benefit Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center,” Davis-Hagens said.
