Suffolk Police investigate Tuesday Night shooting

SUFFOLK, VA – On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Suffolk Police responded to the 500 block of Ashley Ave for reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the ankle. Suffolk Fire & Rescue transported the male to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

This is an on-going investigation and there is no further information available for release at this time.
