Reginald R. Johnson, Sr., 68 of Fort Washington, Md., originally from Suffolk, Va., transitioned Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Fort Washington Hospital.  He was the son of the late Joseph T. Johnson Sr. and Viola J. Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents,one  brother, Roy Harvey Johnson and two sisters, Vernelia Everett, Alice O. Johnson.  He was a 1974 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and obtained a degree in Computer Technology from ECPI (East Coast Polytechnic Institute).  He was employed with the Department of Defense, Office of Naval Intelligence, Washington, D.C.  He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 33 years, Vandalia D. Johnson, four children, Reginald R. Johnson, Jr. (Eyrusalem), Columbus, Ga., Starla E. Johnson (Armond), Stafford, Va., Alexander S. and Lauren S. Johnson, Fort Washington, Md., 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.; three sisters, Lillian Wright, Chesapeake, Va., Maureen Johnson, and Maxine Collins, Virginia Beach, Va., five brothers, Joseph T. Johnson, Jr. (Joyce), Portsmouth, Va., Alvin Johnson (Shelia), Milford, Md., Roland T. Johnson, Virginia Beach, Va., Charles Johnson (Paulette), Suffolk, Va., Felando Johnson, Accokeek. Md., a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24. 2024, at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, 7707 Allentown Rd., Fort Washington, Md. 20744.  He will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd., Clinton, Md.  Professional Services are entrusted to Strickland Funeral Home Inc., 6500 Allentown Rd., Temple Hills, Md.  20748
