Patricia “Pat” Anderson Tinkham, 78, transitioned from this life to go home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 25, 2024 at Sentara Obici, Suffolk, VA.  She was born on September 1, 1945 in Clinton, Iowa and was the  daughter of the  late Donald O. and Shirley L. Anderson.  She grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1963.  The family moved to Suffolk, VA in 1966 and bought a house on Delaney Drive.  Pat is survived by her beloved husband, Martin Campbell Tinkham for 56 years; she has two daughters and three sons.  The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Lake Prince Woods for their great loving skilled caregiving and support.  A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1637 Holland Road, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Ricky Garza officiating.  After the service, please join the family for a reception in the church fellowship hall.   Entombment will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Meadowbrook Memorial Chapel Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends at the church for a visitation at 10 a.m., one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com
