The Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts has a new place for the community to jumpstart their weekend. On Thursday nights, beginning May 30, the center will offer a FREE ‘Summer Music Series’ from 6 – 8 p.m.
As part of the Suffolk Center’s extensive 2-year renovation, a new ‘Outdoors @ The Center’ space was created and is now ready to welcome music lovers of all ages.
“We wanted to create a space where folks can connect with friends, relax, and enjoy creative conversations.” shared Rick Byrd, Suffolk Center’s Creative Director.
The new ‘Outdoors @ The Center’ space runs parallel to the pergola entrance of the Suffolk Center. This previously underutilized space has been repurposed into a show-stopping, multiple-patio space complete with a fire pit, lighting, landscaping, and outdoor dining. Chef Ed Beardsley’s new restaurant, Arts Kitchen, is coming soon and will be located on the first floor of the Center.
