NSA blanks Virginia Episcopal School to advance to VISAA semifinals

The Nansemond-Suffolk Saints came out swinging on Tuesday, defeating Virginia Episcopal School 10-0. Joseph Petry went a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate, with two RBI and a run scored. Senior Carson Wetmore got the start on the mound for the Saints, pitching five innings of four-hit baseball, fanning four, and not allowing a run. Virginia Episcopal had four hits and committed five errors in the loss.
The Saints (12-12) will play Greenbrier Christian Friday at 1:30 at Shepherd Stadium in Richmond.
