Suffolk Police are investigating the shooting death of a Suffolk man that occurred Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Suffolk Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 1300 block of Blythewood Lane at approximately 6:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Darrell Lamont Knight Jr., 26, of Suffolk, was pronounced dead at the scene. There is no suspect information at this time. The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information is available for release.
