The Bridgeport Foundation will kick off Mother’s Day with another year of showcasing local farmer produce in Suffolk.

The nonprofit will hold Bridgeport’s 4th annual Farmers Market on Sunday, May 12. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 3832 Bridge Rd. Along with showcasing locally owned produce, the Market will also present artisans, ranchers, local farmers, and more as vendors. Likewise, the Mother’s Day kickoff will have another year of the “Mother’s and Mimosas” market, which includes both mimosas and shopping opportunities for market attendees. 

Bridgeport is also gearing up for the holidays. After the farmers market ends in August, the Holiday Market will return, scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 7. For more information, go to becoassest.com.
